SOCIAL / PRODUCTION INTERN (BROOKLYN)

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a real one-of-a-kind person to join our team as a Summer Intern at our studio in Brooklyn.

As a Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and assist in all aspects of photo and video production, from pre-production to post-production. You will work closely with our team of experienced producers, directors, and editors to gain hands-on experience in the industry.

We work in small teams to achieve big results. We’re scrappy, nimble and effective - striving to maintain open communication and expectation, so that no matter what you’re doing on a given day; you’re equipped to succeed. All ages (above 18!) are encouraged to apply - you don’t need to be in college, just motivated to grow and learn something new every day!

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the development and research of original video concepts and scripts

  • Developing behind-the-scenes content into social/newsletter assets

  • Helping with the scheduling and coordination of social media posts and general web presence

  • Contributing to the set-up and break-down of equipment

  • Assisting in the editing and post-production process

  • Helping maintain and develop the organization and management of footage and project files

  • Assisting in the coordination and scheduling of client meetings and communication

Compensation:

Job Type: Part-time
$22/hour (USD) - 2 mo. contract - 30 hours a week 

This is a paid internship, hours are flexible and we can work around your schedule. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in the video production industry. Requirements:

  • Ability to be on-site in our Brooklyn office

  • Strong interest in photo & video production and the advertising industry

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Strong ability to take direction and work well in a team

  • Interest in social media trends and content strategies

  • Must be a US Citizen or have accommodation to work in the US

  • Manageable proficiency in Notion, buffer, Davinci Resolve, Frame.io, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a big plus!
